What is causing climate change – still?

What has the world – and Greenpeace – been doing to try to stop global temperatures rising? How are we doing? Our next meeting is on Thursday 13 March when we’ll be hearing from Julia Spragg from Greenpeace. https://www.greenpeace.org.uk/ Julia Spragg lives in Oxford and has been volunteering for Greenpeace since the late 1980s, in many different roles. Originally motivated by stopping whaling, she first heard about Climate Change in about 1990 and, as a scientist, was instantly horrified and propelled to take action. This talk will cover what is causing climate change – still? What has the world – and Greenpeace – been doing to try to stop global temperatures rising? How are we doing? Thursday 13 March 2025, at St Mary’s church on the Green, Witney, OX28 4AW. Bar opens at 7.00pm, speaker starts at 7.30pm
